Musée du verre Soreze

Located at the foot of the Montagne Noir, the village of Sorèze houses a glass museum, unique of its kind, in the former hospice of the town, built under Charles X.

The Glass Museum presents a unique collection of over 1600 pieces from antiquity to the mid-twentieth century. It is part of a project to conserve the heritage of the ancient glass workshops of the Haut Languedoc.

Two major parts of the permanent and temporary collections are:

- Drinking glasses from the seventeenth to nineteenth century

- The blue-green glass of Languedoc
